Dr. Cassidy Schultz grew up in metro Detroit, Michigan, and has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since she was a little girl. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Michigan State University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Schultz began her career in general practice before completing a specialized emergency medicine training program in Chicago. She then spent several years practicing emergency medicine in Colorado before returning to general practice, where she enjoys building lasting relationships with pets and their families while utilizing her emergency medicine experience. Her professional interests include urgent and critical care, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Schultz enjoys spending time with her two long-haired cats, Gaston and Lenny. In her free time, you’ll often find her skiing, reading a good book, or cheering on the Detroit Lions through every season.
